Here's a message I received recently from Ken Campbell, who many of
you will remember well from his circumnavigation of Newfoundland and
the book he wrote about his trip. Of course, we wish him a safe
journey with plenty of exhilarating and colourful experiences that can
be shared with the rest of us upon his return.

"Life in Washington is good. Busy, but we are enjoying ourselves. I'm
actually leaving in a couple weeks for a winter attempt at
circumnavigating Vancouver Island. (It's been done quite a bit, but
never in winter. Probably a very good reason for that. I'll let you
know.) I set up a blog, so if you are interested, I will try to update
it as much as possible. It's http://vicircle2008.blogspot.com
Please pass it on to the folks I know in the club who might be
interested."
